Isaiah 28:9–14 Whom is He trying to teach? To whom is He explaining His message? To infants just weaned from milk? Isaiah 30:9–11 These are rebellious people, deceitful children, children unwilling to obey the LORD’s instruction. / They say to the seers, “Stop seeing visions!” and to the prophets, “Do not prophesy to us the truth! Speak to us pleasant words; prophesy illusions. / Get out of the way; turn off the road. Rid us of the Holy One of Israel!”
Isaiah 53:1 Who has believed our message? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?
Jeremiah 6:10 To whom can I give this warning? Who will listen to me? Look, their ears are closed, so they cannot hear. See, the word of the LORD has become offensive to them; they find no pleasure in it.

John 3:20 Everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come into the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.

1 Corinthians 1:18, 22, 23 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. / Jews demand signs and Greeks search for wisdom, / but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles,
2 Timothy 3:8 Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these men oppose the truth. They are depraved in mind and disqualified from the faith.

Some parts of his letters are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction.
Revelation 22:19 And if anyone takes away from the words of this book of prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and the holy city, which are described in this book.
