Acts 4:3–18 They seized Peter and John, and because it was evening, they put them in custody until the next day. / But many who heard the message believed, and the number of men grew to about five thousand. / The next day the rulers, elders, and scribes assembled in Jerusalem,

Acts 12:1–19 About that time, King Herod reached out to harm some who belonged to the church. / He had James, the brother of John, put to death with the sword. / And seeing that this pleased the Jews, Herod proceeded to seize Peter during the Feast of Unleavened Bread.
