God called the light “day,” and the darkness He called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day. / God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night. And He made the stars as well. / to preside over the day and the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good.
