Matthew 8:24–32
Suddenly a violent storm came up on the sea, so that the boat was engulfed by the waves; but Jesus was sleeping. / The disciples went and woke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!” / “You of little faith,” Jesus replied, “why are you so afraid?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it was perfectly calm.
Matthew 14:22–33
Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of Him to the other side, while He dismissed the crowds. / After He had sent them away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. When evening came, He was there alone, / but the boat was already far from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it.

Luke 5:1–9
On one occasion, while Jesus was standing by the Lake of Gennesaret with the crowd pressing in on Him to hear the word of God, / He saw two boats at the edge of the lake. The fishermen had left them and were washing their nets. / Jesus got into the boat belonging to Simon and asked him to put out a little from shore. And sitting down, He taught the people from the boat.
Luke 8:22–24
One day Jesus said to His disciples, “Let us cross to the other side of the lake.” So He got into a boat with them and set out. / As they sailed, He fell asleep, and a windstorm came down on the lake, so that the boat was being swamped, and they were in great danger. / The disciples went and woke Him, saying, “Master, Master, we are perishing!” Then Jesus got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waters, and they subsided, and all was calm.
John 21:1–11
Later, by the Sea of Tiberias, Jesus again revealed Himself to the disciples. He made Himself known in this way: / Simon Peter, Thomas called Didymus, Nathanael from Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two other disciples were together. / Simon Peter told them, “I am going fishing.” “We will go with you,” they said. So they went out and got into the boat, but caught nothing that night.
